The LHRAA Board of Directors has entered the discussion about J. Edgar Hoover's charges against Martin Luther King.
In an interview with a group of women correspondents. J. Edgar Hoover remarked recently that because of certain remarks by the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., he was prepared to say that "In view of King's attitude and his continued criticism of the FBI on this point (of the effectiveness of the FBI in the South), I consider King to be the most notorious liar in the country."
