Good Good-Byes

When school year’s end comes—and especially when it’s the fourth or last of these—parents who call for their sons and daughters are often seen to be in near-shock condition at the sight of all that’s been accumulating in a student’s time here. There’s almost invariably more that needs to be transported than the vehicle (sometimes even a U-Haul trailer) can accommodate.

This Spring, some of the students realized that much of what they were packing they would never wear or use again. They set out boxes on the different corridors so such items could be left behind and be shared with less fortunate people of the community.
