Decisions, Decisions!

Becoming acquainted with new students on campus usually evokes these questions: "What's your name?" "Where're you from?" and possibly "What year?" If the interview goes farther, the next question is usually, "What's your major?"

Often enough the student answers, "I haven't decided,'' and not infrequently the answer is, "I don't really like the major I chose and I think I'm going to change."

Students seem to take "undeclared majors" in stride. However, parents are often more disturbed than the undecided students themselves might be. Such parents might find the following reassuring.
