A Lutheran Theological Consultation on "The Church and Judaism" was held at Camp Augustana (Lake Geneva, Wis.) August 17-20. The Consultation was arranged by the Department for the Christian Approach to the Jewish People, National Lutheran Council. Invited to attend and participate in the Consultation were members of theological faculties of seminaries within the National Lutheran Council as well as of seminaries of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, pastors of Hebrew background, and other persons interested in the Christian approach to the Jewish people. An invitation was received and accepted by this writer.
