Happy Recovering

To be sure, there was an air of alarm on our campus when we learned that our President had experienced what the medical world terms “cerebral vascular accident” and subsequently was transported by helicopter to a Chicago hospital where his condition could be better monitored and where the best of techniques and technicians would be close at hand.

With much gratitude to God, the campus community welcomed his return to his home 12 days later, flooding his room with cards and other expressions of best wishes for his birthday. Doctors have submitted gratifyingly favorable reports on the exceptional progress discernible in his recovery as he returns to his desk.
