Biographical Information about Author(s)
Alana graduated from Valparaiso University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is working to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice in May of 2016. She has worked within the realm of public health and has provided care to those diagnosed with a variety of mental health conditions. Upon graduation, Alana hopes to continue her work with a variety of underserved populations, both domestic and abroad.
