Abstract
High-Altitude Balloon (HAB) Flight1 was dedicated to launching, tracking, and recovering a high-altitude balloon. Since HABs ascend to stratospheric altitudes, this student-led project aims to explore the conditions found in near space by carrying scientific payloads. Additionally, the balloon launching infrastructure developed under BCON BAND offers a cost-effective and repeatable method for testing and validating future satellite capabilities prior to launch.
