Swastikas, anti-Jewish demonstrations, bombing of synagogues, "Kike," "Jew him down," "dirty Jew" - all are in the picture. They describe a heritage handed down to us from past generations. The recent anti-Semitic outbursts in Europe and in our own country are part and parcel of the smouldering anti-Jewish sentiment with which perhaps the most of us good Christian people have grown up and which some of us have been trying desperately to shake off, only to find it reappearing from the subconscious in active and definite conscious thought patterns.
