The following listing is taken from the Adult Education Series, The Lutheran Church in America, presented by the Board of Publication, 2900 Queen Lane, Philadelphia, Pa. 19-129. These titles were chosen for review by The Vanguard because they relate the Christian commitment to specific problems in society and specific issues in human relations. Each set of books is designed as a study course for church/ discussion groups. We recommend them especially for white North American Christians - for use by the entire congregation, the social service committee, the elders, the adult Bible class - and urge that they be taken as seriously as the altar cloths.
