Retiring President Being Feted by Board, Faculty

Retiring Valparaiso University President Robert V. Schnabel will be honored by the VU board of directors and the faculty at a number of campus events in April.

The board will recognize Dr. Schnabel's achievements during his tenure as president since 1978 at a dinner gathering of the President's and Founders Clubs on Friday evening, April 22.

Speakers for the occasion will include Dr. Ralph Bohlmann, president of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and Dr. Oswald Hoffmann, Lutheran Hour speaker and member of the VU President's Advisory Council.
