Welcome to the new website for Journal of Political Science Studies and thank you for reviewing our materials. This journal has been produced in several iterations and forms, most recently as the Indiana Journal of Political Science, supported by the Indiana Political Science Association. Our recent change in publication and title reflects a deep interest by the association and the editorial board that our interest and scope in study is not confined to the geographic boundaries of the state.

We aim to attract high quality scholarship, in the form of research articles, case studies, and book reviews, that can help enhance our understanding of politics and the world. As such, we welcome submissions from all subfields in Political Science and encourage interdisciplinary pieces as well. We operate under a rolling submission deadline but publish one issue per year. Papers presented at our annual Indiana Political Science Association conference are highly encouraged to submit their work for consideration.

The study of politics is not simply the study of government, its actors, and its policies but rather an illuminating vision of the dynamics of power and the resolution to challenges within our world. Its reach extends to each person and its impact ripples beyond decades and generations. The questions we ask in political science have broad implications and great societal value. As the editor of the Journal of Political Science Studies and chair of the editorial board, I am grateful you rise to the challenge of addressing these questions and I hope to see your scholarship submitted to our journal soon!

Sincerely,

Laura Merrifield Wilson
