About This Journal
Bridge/Work is a multidisciplinary undergraduate journal focused on connecting service, study, and the meaningful life. Questions of meaning and purpose form a natural bridge between study and service, thought and action, academic learning and work in the world. Articles in the journal explore questions such as how leadership and service can illuminate academic study and vice versa, how the texts we read speak to the actions we take and how our actions speak back to our ideas. Bridge/Work serves a unique role in encouraging undergraduate students to reflect more deeply on how their studies affect how they define value in their lives and how their studies affect their choices for leadership and service in church and society.
