Biographical Information about Author(s)
Nazia Nasrat, Fulbright scholar in VU’s IT graduate program, completed a BS in Computer Science at Kabul University. She worked four years at USAID- related international organizations, beginning in databases and working her way up to full manager.
Nazia was one of the early women pioneers to study Computer Science in Afghanistan and progressed to become one of the rare female IT managers. Nazia is a future leader and motivator for other Afghan women who dream of STEM careers in both the private and public sectors.
