Biographical Information about Author(s)

The author is currently a third-year law student and a graduate student at Valparaiso University. She has Bachelor of Arts degrees in East Asian Studies and Chinese Language from Wittenberg University. However, it wasn't until her experience being a legal extern with the Drug Enforcement Administration that she was drawn to an interest in drug-related issues, especially trafficking. The author wrote this paper out of intrigue, and to combine her studies and interests.
