Biographical Information about Author(s)
Throughout her studies in the Valparaiso University Doctor of Nursing Practice program, Lauren pursued her interest in nutritional therapy in the hopes of promoting the health and well-being of patients suffering from type 2 diabetes and obesity. Lauren was able to turn her passion in to an evidence-based practice project, leading to a job opportunity at a local family practice implementing a nutrition and weight management program as a result of her project’s significant results.
