During my summer vacation in New York City, I discovered millions of people with differing ideas, religions, races, and careers. There seemed to be two basic categories that the city dwellers fit into: the well-paid, young, urban professionals, nicknamed "yuppies," and the meager-living, unconventional, "artsy" type called "bohemians."
