The most talked about book in the year 1984 was 1984 by George Orwell. When people think about this book, they think of a totalitarian government and its control over people. With 1984 more than a year behind us, not much thought is given to Orwell's society. But what many people don't realize is that for millions of people in the Soviet Union, 1984 is a daily reality.
