Abstract
[Excerpt]
A population of worker ants, Prenolepis imparis Say (Hymenoptera: Formicidae), was observed pollinating the hermaphroditic flowers of staghorn sumac, Rhus nphina. at the University of Michigan-Dearborn in western Wayne County, Michigan, during the midmorning hours of 10 June, 1974, and at a height of approximately 1.75 m.
