Abstract
Based on a portion of a keynote address delivered at the 50th Tolkien Society Oxonmoot, this paper investigates the Father Christmas Letters through a world-building lens, and suggests areas of analysis concerning the letters where scholars may make significant additional contributions to Tolkien Studies.
