A resolution calling for support of American Indians as they seek treaty rights and assistance in legal action was adopted at the annual meeting of the Lutheran Human Relations Association of America. The National Indian Lutheran Board earlier had asked Lutheran churches and organizations to adopt the statement. (VANGUARD, June 1976)
