Crusade Accrues $50 Million Early, So Sights Raised

Thanks to an unprecedented response, the Crusade for Valparaiso University has topped its original $50 million goal 2.5 years ahead of schedule. Crusade Chairman Harold G. Bernthal of Lake Forest, Ill., reported to the July meeting of the VU board of directors that, as of June 30, $50,113,172 had been recorded in gifts and pledges.
