The board of directors of the Lutheran Human Relations Association of America (LHRAA), at its March 10-11 meeting, voted unanimously to endorse the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) and to "express dismay over those 15 states that have failed to ratify the amendment." The LHRAA staff also indicated they would explore ways to conduct LHRAA meetings in states that have ratified ERA.
